UFTAA’s GLOBAL TOURISM OFFICE in ISTANBUL

9th of December, 2017, is indeed a Red Letter Day for UFTAA. UFTAA’s Global Tourism office in Istanbul, Turkey, was inaugurated by His Excellency, Hon. Minister for Culture & Tourism of Turkey Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş amidst the presence of UFTAA Board members and top leaders of TURSAB who supported the opening of this most unique office.

To celebrate 50 Years of UFTAA, the focus of UFTAA on Tourism is a growing vertical that would benefit our association members from interaction and business opportunities. UFTAA’s support for the cause of Global Tourism and Travel; is well recognized. UFTAA’s vision is to create a global tourism platform to connect the tourism stakeholders and encourage them to engage one-another into promoting Tourism.

The Global Tourism Office is a very classy 2 floor facility in the heart of Istanbul. It reflects richly, UFTAA’s leadership and we thank TURSAB for their generous gesture. TURSAB is among our most important Association Members. UFTAA Board and all Associations of UFTAA, across the world are ever grateful to TURSAB for this most outstanding support from TURSAB.

UFTAA is a member of the WTO – World Tourism Organization. UFTAA’s focus on Tourism and its most encouraging role to support the world connect better on Tourism matters is growing.

UFTAA is an active member of the IATA’s PAPGJC – Passenger Agency Program Global Joint Council, where discussions are held between the Airlines and Association representatives of the world. PAPGJC reviews and proposes changes in the Passenger Agency Program that governs the functioning of Travel Agencies, affiliated to IATA, across the world.
